Do I use the full bottle of Active Dishwasher Cleaner at one time?

Yes, 1 bottle = 1 wash

Do I still need (or why) to use Active Rinse Aid when using the Active Tablets that have Rinse Aid included in them?

For best results you are best to use active rinse aid as well as active tablets

Why is it a good idea to use Rinse Aid?

It helps reduce any residue forming on dishes throughout the drying process and aids the drying process

Can I use manual Dishwashing Liquid in my Dishwasher?

No not at all it will cause serve over foaming and potential damage to your dishwasher

Can I use Dishwashing powder to clean my washing machine?

No you are best to use an approved washing machine cleaner

Why have my glasses become cloudy?

This is etching and can happen over time. Maybe due to water conditions and heat of dishwasher

Can I wash crystal in the dishwasher?

No, you are best to wash crystal by hand, which is what most crystal manufacturers recommend

Why is powder clogging in the dispenser of the dishwasher?

Can happen for the following reasons:

  • Large dishes in front of powder compartment can prevent it from opening fully
  • Tall dishes or utensils like potato masher can prevent the spray arms from rotating
  • Cover of compartment is faulty and doesn’t open during wash cycle

Why are my tablets not dissolving when I put them in compartment of dishwasher?

It can happen for the following reasons:

  • Large dishes in front of powder compartment can prevent it from opening fully
  • Tall dishes or utensils like potato masher can prevent the spray arms from rotating
  • Cover of compartment is faulty and doesn’t open during wash cycle
  • Test your tablets dissolvability by placing a tablet in a lukewarm glass of water and watch it dissolve

Should I place my tablets in the cutlery basket?

Our tablets are best to be placed in the powder/tablet compartment, except for Fisher & Paykel DishDrawersTM which should be placed in the cutlery basket

Are Active products Phosphate & Chlorine free?

Yes, all Active products are free of phosphate and chlorine.

Are the Active products safe to use with a septic tank?

Yes, all Active products are safe to use with a septic tank, however, you should still refer to a septic tank manufacturer.
